I'm not sure what's going on, I'm having a hard time ranking subsections. Just to get this out of the way, I'm not new to link building, out of 85 websites, I'm able to rank at least on the first page for the majority of my keywords (homepage). But whenever i try to target subsections it seems to lose rank the more I link, happened 5 times already.

I use a lot of mixed links including articles directories, comments, bookmarking, web 2.0s, private networks, ect..

Here's a few things about the site. It's an ecommerce with over 10,000 product pages. There are no duplicate contents. There's no affiliate banner, adsense or any type of advertisement. The homepage/subpages are fully optimized with 2-3 main keywords.

I tried slow linking with high pr sites and also tried blasting, nothing works, it just keep decreasing in the serps. Does anyone have any suggestion I can try.

    Thanks.

mate its difficult to get subsections getting higher rank than the homepage...why don't you get inbound links for the subsections from the higher PR sites..It would definitely take time but in the end you would accomplish what you demand
