So i have a 10k sub channel and i usually get 1k views each video, but sometimes, some videos barely make 200 views. One of my fellow subscribers told me that he didn't get notification about a video i uploaded, since i asked him if he saw my recent video (which to his knowledge he didn't cus he said he didn't get any notification).

I have to mention that i have consistent upload of minimum 2-3 videos a week.

Is it possible that my subscribers doesn't get notification/told about whenever i upload some videos or what is happening here? i'm confused.

Extra question if u have time:
How to rank good if other people have the same niche? i upload the same kind of videos but somehow they seem to get much higher views and their videos recommended while mine barely makes it. :)

It is 100% possible that your subscribers are not notified of your uploads sometimes.
Overall, YouTube is a REALLY glitch infested website and sub-box's have had issues since the cosmic panda update in 2011.

To answer your second question, learn how to properly optimize your videos and channel with good "Search Engine Optimization for YouTube."

Lot of questions hehe. Seo wise you should have good quality long videos great article in description. Good title and tags.

My main question is why some subs doesnt get notified or it's just a coincidence?

Btw, i do have decent amount of videos that are 10 minutes long. They are proper edited with HD quality. My article is usually just links to my other social pages.

Thanks alot, i will look into that

On an average a users subscribes to more than 50 channels and its not possible for youtube to show notification for all the channel.
Usually you will receive notifications from youtube when you watch videos of a specific channel a lot.

Research a bit what tags are your competitors targeting, optimize the tags and titles of your videos.
Use annotations within videos to direct traffic over other videos.

Unless a user manually turns on the option to be notified from your particular channel when you upload new videos. They'll get only get notified sometimes when you upload or maybe a few days later.

This is why youtube favors people (gamers and vloggers) who upload everday after a week of 2 videos a day all your subscribers will have been notified of at least a few of your videos

I will try to upload more frequently, problem is, when i put alot of effort into making many videos, upload tons of them, and they dont get the views they deserve. It feels de-motivating. I usually upload 1 video, wait till it get the average views i normally get which is between 500-1000 before i upload the next.

I'm in the same boat as you lots of subscribers but not getting the number of views you'd expect its depressing especially you see other ppl uploading similar content that's not even as good as yours and they get 100K real views a video. I'm just trying to barrell through it and try new things

I get like 10-20 subs everyday, almost hitting 12k now.
I uploaded a video yesterday, 200 views, what the heck is going on?

And my subs are active though. They just don't get notified, my few online friends who are also subscribers told me that they do not get notified either or didn't see the upload?

Sometimes to see it you have to click in the subscription box. its based on youtubes algorithms

There's a big channel with 2million subs that I'm subscribed to and he just posted about this problem.

He sees the channels being promoted as absolute garbage and a throwback to 2008. Maybe it's spam time again on YouTube.
