Submitting urls through video sitemap?

Does any one know if you can submit other website urls through the video sitemap of just one website?.

Diggity says you can do it, I tried it today.

Although the video sitemap works for its website, I cannot get it to work for other webdite urls?

Maybe it works to create a new page with a video, let it index and 301 it to the desired external page you want to have indexed.

Have tried it past 2 days. This method does not work if you want to change the url submitted to a different offsite url.

Only works for same url that the sitemap comes from.
