submitting to the news section

Is submitting everyday to the news section a bad decision?
I have a source where I can get unique news content and
instead of sitting on their hard drive gathering dust, they
agreed to let me submit it to AC. Is this a good or bad decision?

It's better to learn from someone else's mistake than to make the same mistake right?
If anyone has experience with the news section... please enlighten me.

I've talked quite a bit in my thread about how strict the editors in the new category are. If you're talking about submitting all of them to one account everyday, I generally wouldn't. At this point you're not even sure whether they will like your news pieces so start off by submitting one and seeing if it's the kind of quality they're looking for. If it gets accepted then submit another. How many you can submit to them depends on how receptive they are to your content.

I definitely wouldn't just blast them with a bunch of news pieces in a row as your first test.
