So linkedin recently asked me to submit govt id for my linkedin account which i am using mostly to spam with link and no need to say its fake one. I have made one fake passport with linkedin usename just wanted to know how safe it is. Do they varify with govt or what any one has any experience ?

Keep us updated OP, I have a couple of LinkedIn accounts sitting there with some connections that I would like to turn into leads.

Whip out that photoshop OP, 3-4 years ago I verified a fake driver's license on facebook, can't imagine linkedin is much better at it now in 2019.

THIS. I had a shit ton of FAKE ID files in my mega.nz cloud that I busted my ass collecting, I wish I could get them back! OP PM me if you find any PSD's that look convincing

Submit it, they don't have access to GOV database.

I got the same message this morning. Maybe they are cracking down.

I made my own using google image search and just changing name and id number with some noise added through PS.

Keep us updated, the quality of the doc also plays a big role depending what verification service they use(eg. Netverify which is very tough)

I noticed both of my accounts were deleted. I think it's because I used the headshots from Pexels or Pixabay. Anyone know if that would be the reason? And a good way to correct this in the future without having to use my own photo. Just wondering if the OP also did this.

Oh, or it could be that I blasted a zillion invites and had 600 connections within 5 days.

So, anyone had luck in doing something like this? I have one locked account. No, wait... 2 now.

Is that work for you?

How many connection request you sent in a single day or in a week?

I doubt they have the resources to verify.
LinkedIn is owned by Microsoft. Do you still think they don't have the resources to verify if they really wanted? :p

It is a rather silly thing. When one considers that the whole point of LinkedIn is in fact to create and build personal and professional networks, why would they penalize a patron for doing so? I just went through this on a 100% legitimate account with absolutely no funny business going on. F-tards, for lack of better words.
