I don't get it . Is there are " no Follow " , how can it help for ranking better on Google ?

In my opinion directories are a waste of time and can do more harm then good. The only two I recommend for whitehat sites are DMOZ and Yahoo. I would keep a whitehat site out of the rest of them.

what does it mean when OP says "submit your link"? are we to click on these URLs and go to the individual websites and do something?? or do we put these lines just as OP has them into our website or something?

Sometimes you might even need to verify your email adress...

And sometimes you might need to start dreamweaver and create a link to a directory then upload it visa FTP and then double check that the link is there.

Then sometimes you might need to wait 24 hours for your link to get accepted by directory admin..

It beats working in a factory making table legsall day long for 40 years.

You might get an extra sale or something every week or month thanks to this extra effort, and in my book that's worth it.

Fin a "directory submitter" here on BHW which can import directories, then import the ones above. This way you'll be semi-automating it twice as fast.

So the entire contents of each line was not necessary to post then, is that correct? in other words only the URL link, for example in the first line only the URL is the only thing required? i.e.,
http://www.freeweblinkdirectory.info and not the rest of the html code that surrounds it?

I've checked 3 of the sites above and they all are registered to the same address...
