Sublime Text 3

Just search on Google, I found 200 licenses and activated my copy :D

I use the free version. Is there any difference to the paid one?

You can use free code editors like Brackets or Atom I think they're similar to Sublime Text

No, it's the same, just after some actions, you'll see pop up, with the message to buy pro version, which you can turn off. If you use sublime heavily that pop up, will become quite annoying.

anyone here has Sublime text license key ??

For Sublime text, here is a cracking guide on GitHub.

Available for Mac, Windows and Gnu/Linux.
Also, you can try Atom. It is also very good. Let me know if you try and switch over.

In my experience, Sublime text is much faster and smoother as compared to Atom.
have you used Brackets yourself? How is your experience with that?

Just buy it once you've made that IM money.
I love sublime, and it's not that expensive to get a lifetime license. :)

VS Code is also really good, it works smoother than Atom, but not as good as Sublime.

Yes, VSCode is pretty good. I have tried that too.

It is lightweight and smooth as compared to Atom.
Split view, Git diff etc are pretty good. Worth giving it a try even though I don't expect to make a complete switch yet.

Didn't even realize there was a paid version. What do you honestly need from a code editor?

Hei,

Use Brackets dude. I work in one of the best web designing company in Chennai and we use Brackets. It is amazing. You may think that Sublime has more features. However, Brackets is amazing in my opinion.
