Subdomains and subfolders, Which Is Better for SEO & Why?

using subdomain it's a good idea but we have to separate analytics which is consume more profile, idk which is better, hbu?

I prefer sub-folder but apparently both work.

Back in the day subdomain was harder to rank because it was treated as a separate website. It is still the case to some extent but it can be easily compensated by internal linking.

My vote is that sub-folders are better for SEO.

My reasoning is I have seen many more sub-folders in searches on Google and what not else over subdomains.
