subdomain w/ company name

So we know that domains with company names are dangerous but what if we use subdomains? I'm sure there are some legal aspects of it, but is it still as bad or can you get by on it?

I'm all for it using company names to profit, but I'm just curious what would happen.

What are your thoughts on it?
