Okay, ok I know im posting alot and asking some "dumb" questions but I really think a dumb question is better then no question. and dont be mad at me for making this thread because I typed it in the search bar and got back "useless" results and none of them answered the questions I was looking for.

So how do sub-ids work? it seemed simple when I read the tutorial but then again I didnt fully understand it, is sub-ids a reliable source of tracking my commisions, if not what other ways can I track my Clicks and Conversions and Commisions?, outside of the CPA network like on my own tracking checker maybe?

O yeah anybody know anything about PIXELS?

any advice is appreciated even the negative!

Hi, I'm new to CPA as well. I've found sub-ids quite useful and reliable. I am on the peerfly network. I started off just posting links without sub-ids but soon found I had no idea where my clicks were coming from or what was converting so I used sub-ids and it does seem to have helped.

I'm still making next to nothing a day (about $1-15) so any ideas would also help.

so you understand it, okay I track it how I put my email address in the sub-id slots and what it sends me emails whenever it fires off!

Do you know anything about pixels?

Check out Prosper202 - this tracks your cpa statistics and handles postbacks via subids.

Basically when an offer is completed, the network loads a special address on your statistics server and confirms that the offer is complete.

p202 is the daddy for handling this.

No all sub-ids do is tell you where your clicks are coming from - though I think you can link all up to email. Peerfly allow three subid so you can id the page the click comes from and even which link on that page it comes from.

    Home Page:
subids are used to distinguish between different traffic sources.

when you get conversions on your network, each one will be labeled with whatever subid triggered the conversion.

so then you know which of your traffic sources the converted visitor came from.

subids are just plaintext strings like "google" and "yahoo" etc. they have nothing to do with email.
