Style WordPress site with style.css or Elementor Widget Style?

Will the website load faster if you style mostly with Elementor Widget Style?

I prefer to use style.css because I can reuse styles across different elements or pages.

I would prefer style.css approach.
I am mostly into DIVI but I prefer to create a custom theme or a child theme wherever possible.

Yeah, I couldn't avoid style.css
Elementor widget style can't style everything
End up I just use more of style.css instead

I am trying to avoid the Flash of Unstyled Content (Flash of Original Content)

You're right your website will be load faster with a clean css code rather than with any page-builders.
