ok, now here's a stupid question: why is there a "do not share" list?
in my stupidity, I thought the whole idea of a black hat forum was to share stuff that other people don't want us to be sharing, ain't that right?

what's the reason behind this?



and if the answer is obvious, please excuse my newbie-sm, and possible mental retardation, as I haven't slept for almost 30 hours ... but I couldn't go to sleep without askng this, it bugged me too much

"Black Hat" doesn't mean illegal.
Also, lots of the creators of the stuff on the DNS list are respected members of this forum, they have most likely requested that it is not shared here.

Because some folks on BHW sell the products and/or services so they do not want the same peddled openly on BHW for FREE...

Hence in these cases and more BHW have a No Share List...

oh! so basically, they're selling the products here, and that's why we shouldn't jeopardize their business by posting it, right?

yeah, that makes sense ... although black hat does sometimes mean illegal

You have posted in wrong section.
Items in do not share list belongs to members of this forum and some products from big brands to avoid DMCA complains.
You can release a product/wso and ask our download mod to add your product in do not share list so that it won't be shared in BHW. This is sign of gratitude BHW gives to its members.
