She got like 100k instagram followers and gets like 1k-3k likes on each post and she is asking for $10k per sponsored post.

Target audience matters ,she asked $10k is way to high and offering $100 if the target audience can make big money is too low ,both of you are wrong ,its about survival who is winning the deal ,you pay $100 and make $10k with her traffic ,if she sells her $10k worth traffic for $10k you dont make anything simple ,you both should find a common ground where you both make profit or else you are trying to exploit each other

Yeah i feel like it should be 50-50% cut on profits for both the product owner and these influencers but unfortunately, these influencer seem to ask for 10x of what they should be asking for profit potential their post have. if she gets 20k views per post and 2k of those people decide to visit my product, and 2% of them convert, that is like 40 sales. 40x$20 = $800 in revenue, and then you have $400 product cost, making you $400 profit. So $100-200 per post is a very good offer in this case.

I wonder if anyone actually takes her up on that deal, does seem overpriced. If she has a manager, maybe he's open to more reasonable deals or has someone he's managing with a target audience for your product?

Manager is her boyfriend. She throws the offer and if it works great xD

The majority of the followers are probably botted

lol, well, here he already puts the prices as he wants, well, of course, for such a thing it's expensive.

Influencers sometimes overinflate their prices like that (you don't know, maybe she has rich parents or boyfriend and this is just bonus money, not her main income source so she can afford not giving a f). But then also companies that seek influencer marketing are also looking for unreasonably cheap marketing (don't get me started on how many companies just want to give influencers their stuff that nobody wants to buy anyway but won't pay actual money). Grow some balls (or ovaries) and buy some ads. Less talking, less drama, more control over your traffic.

I don't pay these so call " influencers " A lot Fake ones to be honest. Now the trend is AI influencer. Also good make these " real influencer having more competition :P "

That's hilarious.

I have operated an ad buying & arbitrage agency for almost 3 years now, and work with literally thousands of influencers.
I encounter a lot of these 'influencers' that price themselves 100x of what they are worth on the daily. I have no idea how these people calculate their worth.

One of the best contacts I have is a guy with 2+ million followers with a ~3% engagement rate. I get 24h promotional posts (with a story) from him for under $100 :)
It just takes persistence and good networking to find the golden nuggets in this market.

You also can't see just because they have tons of likes in every post too. Not just because they have million followers. I mean , they can buy lots of likes beside followers. also views on their reel. Now a days is quite hard to spot real ones to be honest.

Obviously you should take what I say with a grain of salt.

Our products are either porn videos or adult store crap like specialty lube, edible panties, etc.

We paid a couple of carefully chosen influencers to promote our adult store crap. Sure enough
we made money but our return on investment was crap. Putting paper flyers in mailboxes would
have made us just as much and cost us a whole lot less.

These influencers are making their money from corporate suckers. ie: Total fucking morons who
graduated from a college marketing program in the last 10 years. Concepts like "how much money
did you spend compared to how much you made" are beyond what their little brains can handle.

So, the large corporations pay large sums of money to "influencers" because they do stupid shit like
dance in front of a Jaguar dealership... Buy expensive clothes and act like hot shit in a bar only to go and return the clothes to the store the next day.

It's the era of idiots and suckers!
Idiots dancing on social media and corporate suckers who believe paying them is a long term marketing strategy.

That's sure works and you had it going 3yrs. Also stumbled on a guy in Dubai who did traffic exchange instead of paying money. His social media channels in exchange for promoting other influencers while they did same. That's another model not everything has to be money related and like @rocknlight rightly said it's not about taking advantage but finding a way to both benefit. It's the core of all successful business partnerships.

Yeah - thanks for pointing the most obvious fact in the world.
Now a days is quite hard to spot real ones to be honest.
Definitely not.

I can definitely see that working rather well. Haven't done that myself, but it's actually very common within the bigger influencers circles.

I have seen a lot of these big (10-100 people) groups of influencers (100k-5m followers) do this.
Dozens of big influencers just promoting each other's brands.

They rotate the promotions so that the same person does not promote the same brand more than a few times per year. Anyone who gets access to these groups for promotions is granted BIG money.
The amount of purchasing power of the followers of these group's influencers is astounding. We are easily speaking about millions each month.

rightly said it's not about taking advantage but finding a way to both benefit. It's the core of all successful business partnerships.
To a given point, of course. Though, business is not for the faint hearted, and most of us aren't in it for charity.
I'm not going to give any more money than what is absolutely necessary to keep good connections with these people.

The guy who I pointed above;
One of the best contacts I have is a guy with 2+ million followers with a ~3% engagement rate. I get 24h promotional posts (with a story) from him for under $100 :)
Gives me a very nice ROI of 17x.
However, my overall ROI is a lot closer to 100%

These types of rates that I get from this guy is honestly the one in a million kind. I get access to these very good rates because we are very well connected. I used to pay 6-10x the price I pay now when I first got to know him.

It's a numbers game. Promoting your audience dry (practically promotion spam) is very much worth it for most influencers, as they pretty much grow at the same pace than what they lose due to the spam.
That promotion spam gives a lot more money when compared to restricting the amount of promotions you do but for a higher price.
You just have to be certain about the maximum 'market cap' of followers for your niche.
Promotion spam isn't worth it, if you're sure that you can grow a lot bigger than what you currently are.

I specialize in finding these 'golden nugget' influencers that have somewhat reached their maximum potential (and/or operate from 2nd/3rd tier countries and are hungry for 1st tier country money) and 'turn' them into doing promotion spam. More money for the both of us.
That's how I get super, super low promotion rates for single posts. I just purchase huge quantities of these posts.

Anyone who reads this, has been given an idea to a market that has easily made me well over 6 figures :)
