stupid groups like "See everyone who visits your profile!"

So there is a group called "See everyone who visits your profile!" and all my friends are joining it, and sending me invites for it.

You can see everybody who visits your profile anytime. You can see who and when. Do the steps to activate it.

1. Join this group!
2. Invite all of your friends to join this group. You will need everybody. So do not miss anybody.
3. When you send the request for all of your friends you will be able to see who visits your profile.

This will only work if all your friends are invited!!!

The group has 400,000 members now, but this chick who made this group only advertise with "Please help make our environment better! <link>" and people are commenting "How come this application still doesnt work for me??? I've done all the steps..."

I doubt that this "application" work, and I hope there will never be any application like this, because I like to visit profiles without people knowing about it... But what if you make a similar group about some fake application, get a lot of people to join, make them invite their friends, and then you link to a download you get paid for. A toolbar or something, and tell them they need it for the application to work, do you think a lot of people would download this?

If many people joined that group believing that just being there will do it, any extra assurance will definitely up the join percentage. But if it is a toolbar, be sure that you let them know spyware free, etc - even if its saturated with PPI (I'm not discussing PPI, I'm just saying how else he could monitize it, I know that to speak about PPI I must go to http://www.pay-per-install.org/, etc etc.). Maybe try Conduit - I don't know how much they pay but I'm sure 100k + installs is a nice profit... But definitely look @ using an AdscendMedia/C-P-A-LEED gateway or SHARRCash kind of download protection - big money to be made!

Lol, back in the days before they changed group layout and fixed taking over groups without admins option, I took over a group "Change a color of your facebook". It had some 200 000 members. In few hours, it came to 250k and I've earned 400$ before they banned my account and deleted the group.

Damn, I was "selling" everything - acai berrys, 20 different email submits, 1500 fans to one of my pages... those noobs would do anything I would tell them to change their backgrounds

I was so damn excited, each hour I was getting like 70-80 bucks, I thought I would take thousands in few days with it. And then BUM, they've deleted it. But it was very cool while it was live

lol It just never fails to amaze me to know that people still fall for this kind of BS.

A few days ago, my friend was inviting me to join that group.

At that time, my thoughts were, "I can't believe you fell for that BS! Come on dude! It's obviously fake! That's just like a chain letter." lol

This Facebook idea could be made more legit. "Lets start the largest patriotic group to get into Guiness" etc. The you have the potential for hundreds of thousands to see you daily status. Then throw an infrequent offer out and your good.

A very easy confirmation that nobody visits my profile. Would probably be quite useful for ewhoring though.
