I used to own and operate a gaming private server for an MMO from 2009-2014 then briefly made a run again in 2018-2020 before it got to be too much for me but I made thousands of dollars doing so. I've been out of the WoW emulation ownership gig for years now, but I do paid game server development via c++ and SQL for 4-5 servers at the moment and no longer run my own server. I do however, have an offshore dedicated server that I pay $100 USD a month for that I used to use for. I haven't done all too much to monetize online except for selling e-books and owning a group on a separate forum that requires an initial payment to join. I also did stuff with AdSense and PPC back in like 2010/11. I do graphic design here and there when needed and if the money is right as I took classes for web development and design post-college.
Basically, I want to invest in a project. Blackhat, whitehat, grey, doesn't matter. What is the most profitable thing right now? I hear good things about Dropshipping and I actually have a very good marketplace rating on both Mercari and eBay from reselling stuff. But how do I find a supplier that isn't saturated? Where do I even begin? As far as me mentioning my dedicated server, it is because I am thinking about opening up a hosting company tailored for MC servers and WoW private servers. Or alternatively, for those who want to purchase a VPS or webhosting. I feel like this extremely competitive, as it was very hard to think of and find a domain name.
I eventually settled on a .online domain to which I will change over to .com eventually. I know my ways around Linux and how to setup a general website and stuff but what else could I do to market my company? Meet new people? Paid advertising?
How about Dropshipping? I've heard it's been very good the last year and will continue to be one of the best methods. Can anyone help me out with some leads? I'd be very appreciative.
Also if anyone offers paid mentorship or anything like that for SEO, please let me know.
