Stuck on Twitter

Peeps! I'm trying to give twitter a whirl. I've read a lot on this forum, bought some stupid ebooks, and tried a few things. No matter what I can't get over the 2K hump of followers.

This is my personal twitter account and would love someone to "throw me a bone" on how I can get more followers...

I'm the epic fail - and I think I'm just missing some of the right information.

well im trying some new things and I have already more then 2000+ followers on several accounts, it looks promesing but to soon to tell, but keep up the good work.

I have 40k followers. I think you should use TweetAttacks and follow these big ones users who have a lot of followers who use followback. You must have like a daily program, for example, follow 500 or 1000 per day, and after 1 day or 2 days, unfollow these who arent following you. Also, you can DM, and I will be glad to help you!

I have some things automated from my WP sites to post with twitterfeed, but the one thing I'm lacking is followers. I need to learn how to unfollow real quick and retain those following me without haveing to manually add/remove.

Hummingbird, twitterfeed, bit.ly and other sites provide good tools for niche, and posting but not for bumpin up the followers. I've taken a few stabs at this and have failed to get over the hump.

DM???? whjats that? im using lite version but will upgrade to pro within short, im in need of new fresh tip and guidence.....

I just wanted to say to him if he wants to DM if he wants help, or any question. There isnt any tool called DM for Twitter, and DMs arent very effectives. Mostly users consider it like spam.

I personally use TweetAttacksPro on a daily basis to get targeted followers. I lost a few accounts due to aggressive following as Twitter would say, so now I play it pretty conservatively.

For each of my blogs,. I find users who have accounts that are geared toward my niche. An example would be a large account for a manufacturer of a product that is in my niche. I then follow between 190-199 of their followers per day. I also unfollow 190-199 followers a day per account. As I said, I'm a bit cautious, but I think you might be able to go higher per day.

I use Twitter Tools plug-in for WP to post links to my blog posts. It's a good way to drive traffic to your blog before you claw your way up the SERP's. I've also found that it also keeps some traffic moving to you in the event you ever find that your site drops heavily due to the Google Dance.

Right now I have about 24K followers over 19 accounts. Up till now, I've just used it for targeted traffic, but I'm starting to experiment with TweetAttacks and CPA offers.

I've never had a problem so far creating an email account and literally going straight to Twitter and creating an account with it. I do try to mix up the IP's when I make a new account.

I don't know about anyone else, but personally I've never had a problem with just created email accounts.

If not a program, you can use different sites that help you get followers, such as hitfollow, followback, and newfollow. all .info sites.
