Hello,

I've read a few threads already about this which have been helpful but need a little more help with my research.

I own a website that's about 4 / 5 months old. It's gotten through the "sandbox" stage and currently sits at the bottom on page 2 for what I would say is a medium difficulty keyword. Ranking increases have been slow and steady for the first few months (Except for the "sandbox" part). I've been pleased with the progress so far but I'm obviously missing the final bit to push myself onto page 1.

So far I have:

Created lots of unique and quality content focusing on LSI keywords.
Built a PBN that currently contains about 20 sites with more being drip feed weekly.
Purchased Sakars Lions Main package just to diversity things.
Drip fed social signals over the months, trying to match new signals with fresh links to make the sites growth look natural and normal.

At the moment I'm running an on page keyword density of 2.5% and have no exact match anchors to the site (All anchors are generic / brand anchors - I've been conservative with them for fear of tripping Panda / Penguin.

Has anyone managed to "un stick" a site from page 2? I have tried a few tips I've found here - most notably the adding of LSI content and pages. This did help me push from page 3 to 2. Upping my keyword density seemed to help too, I originally had an anchor text ratio of 1% after reading the awesome guide to authority sites on BHW.

It might be worth mentioning that this keyword is a local search. Would it be a good idea to rent an address / phone number in the city and get my Google Maps / Citations going? There are other local businesses who rank for the keyword and they do have citations.

Thanks in advance!

Have you read this - http://diggitymarketing.com/infographic-24-steps-to-help-get-you-unstuck-in-the-serps/?

I would refrain from taking tips from the clueless. Expert Self declared guru turd preaches seo on his blog that gets no traffic. Do you see the irony?

Repair your On-Page SEO.

- put internal link (to other post & homepage)
- put related keyword
- give external link to authority site

Improve your on page and start sending social signals. Plus get links from real sites.

You need exact match anchors. Drop your onPage keyword density to ~1% and shoot a few exact match anchors via your PBN.
