Stuck on 2nd page - SEO help.

I started an amazon niche in mid Sep

Am stuck on 2nd and 3rd page for all the keywords I'm targeting

Have outsourced my content and SEO (Good BHW services - ookmarking, pyramid, linkwheel and blog commenting to diversify link juice) but I'm stuck on 2nd and 3rd page since 4 weeks now



Any suggestions?

You're probably going to need links that are a bit more effective then blog comments. If you're needing that push to page 1 your best bet is to purchase some high quality PBN (Private Blog Network) links.

Just keep doing link building and be careful on anchors.

From what I have read you could be stuck in Google sandbox. This takes up-to 6 months to alleviate itself and allow your rankings to flow naturally.

What you could do while you're in this is improve your internal linking strategy and quality of backlinks (So that when you do come out you rank high). For backlinks if you are serious about your website and want it to stay around I would avoid PBN's. What you could do is install the chrome extension 'Check my links' and then go to Google and search Niche + 'Resource Page' or Niche + 'Helpful sites' and other variations. Once you have got a list of these websites that offer resources on use the chrome extension on them looking for dead links. If you get any dead links then try to reproduce the page, and contact the web master notifying them of their dead link and offer your link as an alternative.

For your internal linking methods, I would suggest you produce a lot of content of around 500 words (minimum) all based around the main keyword of your ranking article and link back to that article with different relevant anchor texts. These articles would be more advisable to link to with comments and such than your main ranking page.

If you're struggling for content topics, you could go to youtube and take some relevant videos (look for none-watermarked ones), embed them in your topic and basically cover what gets said in the video. You want to remove the option for showing related videos too. (Well you don't have to, but its just my preference.).

As your website is new, you need more quality backlinks to compete with the competitors having old authority website. Don't stop the link building process but don't push much, just do it in drip feed.

Based on my experience , google is now trying to understand how valuable your site is , if yes it will move you to the 1st page . Buy a package of social signals along with some HQ blog comments

It is common for a website to take time to move on Page 1 from Page 2. It also depends on your domain age and metrics as compared to the domains already in Top 10.

I would recommend not to rush in at this stage. Continue building quality manual links mixed in with a lot of social media juice. Also go ahead with atleast a single press release if you have not done this already. Go ahead and fine tune your interlinking to ensure proper flow of page metrics. Study your link profile and create backlinks to inner pages with no links or lower metrics.

Most webmasters rush in at this time and increase their backlinking in order to get on page 1 often resulting in further decline in rankings.

Google will also consider your website CTR so do think about the ways you can improve visitor time on your website. If you digg through past BHW posts you will come across some good ways to improve your website CTR.
