Stuck on #15

I`ve got a site that have been among top 4-5 for some time now, pretty stable. Right before Christmas I decided to outsource most of my link building. After a week or so with not doing anything to the site, no link building or anything, because I was looking for someone to do link building for me, I ended up on #15. Now, this is a 2-3 weeks ago. Since Christmas I`ve got some 3000 additional links, and NOTHING have happened. No movement. I mean, none at all. Not a single spot! How is this possible? Before I was able to jump several places "from day to day" with a low number of links with all kinds of pr, now I`m not able to rank at all with 3000 links with different pr, some wery high.

Same thing happened to me, but after I just started targeting PR 4+ links it started helping out.

And I'm on page 3 from 191 million results. :headache:

are your links indexed?

you won't see results in a week in most cases... sometimes it takes months for your site to rise after building backlinks.

What exactly would you be looking for?

I dont get it, I think I know this stuff pretty good. I even got a site that`s on #9 out of 55 million.. And I`ve hardly done anything to it. Just 3 pages of crap content. I really dont get how I can be stuck on the exact same spot for this long..

Have the spiders gone over your site again??

Also check out your competitors backlinks and try to get links from the same sties as well...

Could be the quality of your links, G likes diversity. Don't stop, continue the process for some period of time, then check again. Could be the fate G dance, could be they changed some things. Could be they thought.. why nothing, then 3k links all of a sudden.

I know, but usually when building links I see results after just 24 hours or so. Not sure why it takes so little time, but it does.

Yup, several times.
Have checked my comps links, have a lot of the same links.

I have good diversity, I believe. 5-600 links from PR3+ sites, a few thousands from PR0-3 sites.. The links didn`t come all the sudden either, they were spread out over time. At least that`s what I was told. But in case they wasn`t, maybe I`m getting penalized? How long can I get stuck if that`s the case?

Yup, I believe I bought some 150 links from you a week ago or something. Furthermore, I`ve been building Angelas links to the great gold medal.
