Stuck on # 12

It seems that I am stuck on Google on #12. I have around 20,000 B/L. I am new to this and would like to start on many other niches but want to get my first site done right and learn before I start on others.

Just looking for some ideas to bring it up.

The site is around 5 months old.

Any help would be great.

It is going to be hard ranking with it (5 months old). If you keep getting backlinks, you're going to get boxed.

Here is what I would do:

Create more content on your site - and build a small amount of backlinks every week.

It takes time it is not going to jump to #1.

maybe the website ranked #11 its squido or hubpages or youtube or wiki etc etc and its more hard to rank your website

Backlinks are only part of the equation.

Take a good look at your site structure and try some optimization...and(as mentioned above) add more [quality] content.

Time is the next step. Give it some time.

Too many variables to simply guess why you are not moving to page two. PM me your site info and the keywords you are trying to rank for and I will tell you what you need to do.

Are you submitting to Social Bookmarking Sites? And How many Web 2.0 Properties are you building around your pages? I would suggest you start building 4 Web 2.0 sites around your domain name and 4 other pages. That gives you a total of 16 Off Page Sites that link to your site, and build backlinks around those 16 pages.

Yes, you need to do that. And submit different pages and homepage to as many social bookmarking websites.

Yes, I do not mind giving you a hand and helping you reach into a better rank than #12.
I got some free time and willing to contribute to BHW.

Also, You could get your backlinks indexed by building RSS Feeds around backlinks.
I have a free tool that you can use and it can build those pages for you.
