Hello.

I have a question and I am sure that you lot can help or push me in the right direction.

I have a website which I sell items on but not a lot. Most of my sales are on eBay.
But because eBay take such a cut I am trying to get more sale on my site.
But sadly this is not my expertise. Also at the moment I do not really have to time to master it.
Should I pay someone to do the SEO on the site and promote it or should I pay someone per sales.

There are pros and cons for both sides I can see.

Any feedback would help me make my mind up.

Please don’t PM me offering your services. I am just asking for help making my mind up.

Thanks.

I'm already looking into this topic and I've found some stuff that I am going to do.
1. Do basic SEO myself by watching Youtube Tutorials and following along some Tutorials on here. You don't have to "Master" it.
2. See how well it is doing.
3(?). Potentially ask someone else to audit my site.
4(?). Get some 3rd Party do more professional SEO, but not some fiverr Gig (still haven't found a good source. Maybe BHW?)

In my opinion, you shouldn't Pay someone "per sales". On-Site SEO seems to be the most effective (ignoring most of those sales Threads on the marketplace).

Wish you good luck!
