Hello community, just joined after visiting the forum few times.

I need your help!

I'm publishing videos on tiktok where the initial traction looks very promising but then just stops at 700 views.

This is the pattern I'm facing:

The video gets 690-720 views, 70-80 likes, 5-8 saves, 2-4 shares wiithin 30min of publishing it.

And that's all. It stops there. It's not one video, I've tried with multiple ones and different accounts, same pattern.

Is there anything I should know? Apart from improving the content but initial metrics look good.

make a content that sparks conversation in the comment... so that it can push into algo

Try adding a clear call-to-action or a question in the caption to encourage more comments extra engagement can help the algorithm push your videos beyond that first 700-view plateau.

different accounts, same pattern.
have you used different proxies? yours might have been flagged, which might have also resulted in your accounts getting semi-shadowbanned.

Yes I did but I haven't changed the device, even if I did hard reset multiple times

if you’re getting 700 views I don’t think you’re shadow banned, your content is just not good enough for the algorithm to keep pushing it.

Try changing your content, how often you post or different post times to see if engagement improves

what kind of content are you creating? is it good enough to keep the engagement flowing? Try creating content that people will engage more.

I've created a new account, some videos got 950 views but same show...they don't go over that number.

I can see similar videos on tiktok getting 10k/15k views so really not sure what's going on with me hahah

Do you think my device might be flagged at this point? I've done factory reset multiple times.

Or any trick? Thanks community

Sounds like your videos are getting early traction but not reaching the next push. TikTok often tests content with a small audience first. If it stops at ~700 views, it might mean the watch time or completion rate drops after that. Try keeping viewers hooked longer or using stronger hooks in the first few seconds.

Yeah I've got videos with 25% completion rate...is that good? Or what should i aim for?

Looks like you're getting solid initial traction but hitting a wall. Try mixing in more engagement like asking people to comment or tag friends. Also, switch up your hashtags—combine trending with niche ones. Posting during peak hours helps too. Lastly, stick to a consistent theme to keep the algorithm happy. Keep testing and you’ll break through soon!

TikTok usually tests a video with around 500–700 initial views. If watch time and comments aren’t strong enough it won’t push further. Try focusing on full watch time and sparking interaction

Sounds like a soft cap from TikTok’s algo. It happens when your video performs well with the first batch of viewers but the watch time or completion rate isn’t strong enough to push it to the next wave. Sometimes it’s also tied to accs trust or content niche.

I hit 25% co.pletion rate with some videos getting 950 videos max and 80 likes, 30 comments...I mean these metrics seem decent but not sure if there is something else to consider at this point.

This is a new account, 1 week old but I've done the same with older accounts, nothing really...

Update

The situation doesn't seem to improve...that's so frustrating guys hahaha
