Strongest backlinks from authority sites

I am looking for a list of the strongest backlinks (paid or not), permanent, that one can get a site listed on.
I am not talking about user signatures for example, I think that google discounts that.

But any method, place even expensive to get in, I will take

Search your niche and look at the top sites that show up in Google. These are probably the best ones to try to get links from since they are relevant to your niche. Email them, offer to write articles for them, offer to purchase link, etc.

To have a powerful backlink, the page it's on needs to have high page rank. This is because page rank is a measure of how much "link juice" is flowing into a page - and therefore, how much you might be able to tap with your linkdrop.

Angelas method provides backlinks on pages with PR n/a. This actually means that they have negligible link juice flowing into them. A strong backlink's gotta have pagerank on the same page you have the link. Having the domain as PR8 won't help you if the internal link structure of the site means that the page you leave your link on has PR n/a i.e. none of the good stuff. Authority alone just will not cut it. You need to have the link juice power to climb in the SERPS.

Try to get your site in all or as many directories as you can on this list:
