After a huge month of feeling great for leaving PayPal for Stripe, having a really cool dashboard with loads of insights, automatic withdrawals, I get hit yesterday with:

I've had 1 customer out of the last 80+ chargeback - not because of the software's fault anyways.

Payment processors nowadays are a huge joke. I wish everyone just used Bitcoin 24/7. Anyways, back to PayPal I have to go...

:(

That sucks. How much time did they give you in total? Is this the only email they sent you and did they give you only one day to change merchant account providers?

A mix of Stealth Paypal + Stealth Stripe accounts get the job done.

Prob your money will be sitting for 90 days there, but you will get it.

Can't you just use porn payment processors for this if you want to accept CCs? Even if they charge ~13% it will be cheaper than rotating PayPal + stripe accs.

I would hit up verotel and explain the situation. I remember them from a couple of years ago and they came recommended. The thing with payment processors is that a lot of them come and go, few stick around. If your product is slightly out of the mainstream they will really make you pay. So it makes sense to pick at least a reliable one. Just checked their prices and they charge 15.5% and 500€ annual fee that is waived if you have at least 100€/week in sales in the second year.
Don't know if they are still good. People recommending rotating paypal+stripe accounts might want to factor in lost sales with this method that should OP count as processing fees, too. For a blackhat product like an instagram account creator hefty processing fees are just a cost of doing business.

You might want to start searching around for "high risk merchant accounts" or "high risk payment processors" most will normally let you function with a digital product although be prepared for a higher set up fee, larger fixed fees (can be lowered based on sales history) and normally longer clearance times 14 days+

Although you say they are a joke, most don't want the hassle and larger fees/security associated with it and don't want to risk their own business. So rather than going mainstream you have to look for the people who are willing to work with your chosen industry/niche off the top of my head:

securionpay
cutpay - although I think you need to have a set sales number and from memory may have to provide previous sales data
alliedwallet.com - I think they now all digital services I THINK

Mate what is your software? You can try Clickbank. Submit your product to CB. If it is approved they can get both paypal and cc payments and will transfer your money to USA bank account (if you don't have it you can use Payoneer VBA and withdraw your money with payoneer card or to your bank account). If you don't want to use bank account you can ask them to send you a check and cash it locally. It is a little longer and expensive way though.

At that time something totally self made.

hey man
I was about to use stripe for my new website, but looks like it's a real pain, right?!
so what did u do? should I use a stripe on my Shopify or there is any better solution?

For what niche? For mainstream products I would use mollie.com myself bc. it's Europe based. For porn I would use multiple simultaneously and most importantly epoch because IIRC they allow paypal for European (?) customers. Don't sleep on extra goodies like paypal because the conversion rate increase easily off offsets extra costs in the adult niche.

digital goods(gaming)
I hate using paypal. I was hoping to use stripe, but 'more than %2 charge-back, get banned or get penalty' sound terrible!
what u think is best for me?
and is it possible to get G2A payment processor!? (I mean with fake duc or stealth)?
