I have coded a new app, wich send wall post to 25 freinds as soon as the user allow the app, but with a new twist on it.
I have tracked how many post have been sended befor the ban, and i have see it's like 1k post in 3 hours.
Do you think the number of 1k it is a specified formula, or it is just a case?
The problem is that wen the app is banned, all the post wich has sended are immediatly deleted.
DO you know if it is the same with event invitation? will the invitation be deleted if the app who did it is deleted?
If some FP developer is here, we could speak about it and try to find a system. i have a lot of new idea...

Afaik apps get reviewed manually by FB employee so thats probably the problem...

Why dont u also request offline param and msg them later when u have enough users? Also dont use spammy names like 'free ipad' etc.
 
Application ban has lot to with comments/blocks they receive.
 
eddy, there are a lot of variables with application development, especially when trying to understand the nature of their lifespan. You are, in fact, touching and focusing on two variables, speed and frequency of your API calls. Since you're working with wall posts, it'd be in your best interest to isolate the upper boundary with trials. You've already run two trials and have found it to be within the 1,000 range. Continue your trials and form an average. Work with that average to understand if it's confined to a specific time frame, and if so what that time frame is (24 hours, 48 hours, etc).

Regarding content sweeps after deletion, this can't be avoided and applies to virtually every publishing permission. So, to answer your question, yes, all your created events, or event invitations, will be swept after the application is deleted. The caveat regarding events is that when users are invited, I believe they receive an e-mail. Those can not be retracted (unlike AOL circa '97-99 lol), thus some residual traffic will remain even after the application has been deleted. The actual event, however, will most likely be disabled or deleted, even if it wasn't created by the application (i.e., using remote event IDs).

Just keep in mind that every action taken by your application is logged and analyzed. Just the simple action of being installed will start their analysis. There has been speculation that an exponential growth (viral growth) flags applications for manual review by FB staff. No one has ever been able to confirm that but it seems plausible, and highly likely.

Also, xxMP3xx is correct. Comments, uninstalls, spam reports, etc, all are accounted for within their developer platform. Sometimes I think they generate some type of "spam score" akin to that of SpamAssassin and e-mail headers. Once your app breaches a designated "spammy app-score" it gets automatically deleted.

PM me if you need help with anything in particular. Just keep in mind at this stage in the game, almost every idea you think is fresh has probably been abused to hell and back, so countermeasures will already be in place.

nowadays it's much than 1000 (wallpost, comment, event, etc) and user feedback is out of the picture when you consider most viral apps are deleted within 20-60 minutes

if you app has no viral permissions it will last significantly longer

I will continue to test the limit and i will make other experiment.
Do you know if an event is also tracked to see if it's growing to quickly?

If you asked me that 2 months ago, I would have said "probably not." But it appeared just about a month ago that event invitations, at least from any one account, were being throttled. By throttled I mean that if an event was getting too many invitations, you would receive a warning stating something along the lines of "this event has received too many invites in a short period of time, please try again later."

Since that event script was sold on CPA Lead and whored out among possibly hundreds of marketers, I'm sure they are now analyzing the behavior of events to an even higher degree of scrutiny. It wouldn't surprise me if they've put some sort of automatic disabling mechanism in place, and possibly even flags for manual review if invitation counts trend exponentially.

I know from reading at least one article that FB is trying to minimize the staffing required to handle marketing on their network, so they are testing more and more means of automated monitoring and moderation. Automation takes a long time to perfect, and if you investigate the FB community for user-feedback, almost all their countermeasures to-date have impacted innocent behavior by normal FB users. For this reason I believe those within the BH community that work with FB will experience a series of fits and starts until FB has perfected their countermeasure infrastructure(s). With that in mind, always run trials. You may find one day that 1,000 is no longer the limit or an event not being taken down -- this is the time to move forward aggressively if you're going to move forward at all; success occurs when opportunity meets preparedness.
 
Facebook does definately use some sort of quality/spammy score for an app. Just checkout the email you receive when an app is deleted for being spammy, the email explains it was auto deleted.

I have near perfected a system for this that will make apps live much much longer, however im obviously not going to post it on an open forum where it will be seen, copied and blocked like everything else. What I can say is, if you really want it, Like I did, you will figure it out. I ask like me, you dont share this with every man and his dog.
