Strategies for click-flipping?

I thought click flipping virtually ended when Adwords banned affiliate links (2005/6 if I remember correctly) therefore I forgot about the idea for quite a few years. However after reading between (or through) the lines on this forum, it seems that some of you effectively transfer traffic to CPA/CB/affiliate offers.

I can use search engines, I know about 7search/peerfly combination, cleaning traffic, etc.. However, I'd be grateful for any other hint (not spoon, hint is enough) how to get back into click flipping again. What is the leverage point right now? Traffic source? Split testing? Keyword research?
