Stranger Things Felt Strangely Boring

It was alright. I'm satisfied with the finale. They had set the bar so high and maybe that is why some people are disappointed.
This was Netflix' biggest cash cow, they'll reboot it some years down the line.

Frankly speaking, I do not expect something good from Netflix for a couple of years for now.

It was rushed, yes. No boring though. Got the closure the fans needed. Can't make everyone happy.

Agree with this. And that is why they didn't kill any characters.

yeah a bit average, probably with all the spoilers that i've seen online, but good thing i didn't saw that last part where everyone is making theories about whether its true or not

I was upset with the ending after I invested all that time in the series. Overall I thought it was pretty good and not too much filler.

Yeah, Exactly. I am also happy with the ending. It's just a happy ending that all fans needed.

And it was good tho, IMO.

I saw it and I’m like umm what was this felt umm out of words but for the hype it didn’t work for me. Netflix needs to deliver better
You’re not alone. The hype was way bigger than the payoff. It had some good moments, but overall it felt stretched and predictable. Netflix leans hard on nostalgia instead of strong writing lately. Hopefully they step it up, because the bar used to be higher. o_O

I saw information somewhere that Netflix started simplifying its shows because the average viewer, firstly, has become more stupid (sorry if it sound offensive), and secondly, wants to watch series in the background and is not ready for a serious plot or content load.

You're right, the last season really feels very flat and pale compared to the first and second, I am sincerely disappointed.

It's because the ending was contrived - they took 45 minutes to wrap up what happened with each character and give viewers a safety blanket.

They also are planning 2 additional spin offs - a cartoon series that takes place between S2 and S3.

And in a few months, I'm betting the 2nd spin off will be about Hopper (the police officer) since he's moving to Monatuk, which is famously known for experimenting with telekinetics during the cold war.
