I felt 4th season was heavily repetitive and not much new in it. The 5th season they really need to get bolder otherwise it’ll flop what do you’ll think

I haven't watched a single episode yet, but interested to binge watch it :D is it really worth to watch?

My wife and I finished watching the fourth season, and I agree with you, it feels very formulaic.

I mean, all of the seasons feel like that, and we still enjoyed this last one, but when they use what feels like the exact same formula for every season's plot and subplots, it becomes very apparent quickly.

In my wife's opinion, they make a season of Stranger Things by having one plot, and then multiplying it by 3.

I actually compared it to the main Ice franchise. I've watched all of the main movies, and with each movie, they keep adding more and more characters, and with each character, there are subplots galore. Everything kind of just comes together at the end, the same way it's done with Stranger Things.

I liked Season 4 more than Season 3 tbh

I did that but was fast forwarding it, because the scenes were super easy to predict.

Exactly here they lacked what GOT did bump off characters, and they lacked the emotional pull, but I’m hoping season 5 is darker, scarier otherwise they’ll lose their reputation. There’s also a talk for a spin-off so for that to succeed they really need to make something out of season 5

The director will be happy at least some one liked this season :p

Season 4 was lazy writing. There were so many filler scenes & scenes that drug out for no reason at all. Roughly 45 minutes went towards the actual plot for the last two episodes of the season that totaled 4 hours.

It feels like they ran out of ideas and just tried the stretch the viewers into season 5. Even though, most people would watch into season 8 if it came down to it.

I haven't watch the 4 season but people are crazy about that series , I am planning to watch season 4 on this weekend :)

I keep meaning to start watching this, but never find time. We recently watched the last Peeky Blinders series and what a waste of time that was.

I think 1 season was enough. It's one of those shows that just doesn't get better by adding more seasons to it. It's repetitive and just ... meh.

I think that Season 4 was good till the 7th episode but the Volume 2 was boring and should have been in the Season 5.

I stuck it out but it was boring and didn't really impress me.
I feel the same . I did try to watch it, after 2 episodes i understand that is not mine. Characters didn't impress me and the idea itself not hooked me.

Looks like I'm going to scratch Peaky Blinders off my list :D though I like Cillian Murphy's movies a lot.

As long as it didn't end like GOT's finale, I think there won't be a riot on Twitter hehe.

They created a cool creature universe that brings up so many amazing questions and potential plot discovery, but they rather stretch it out on lame subplots and boring dialogue instead. Nothing was accomplished this season. Such wasted potential.

Agreed. I disliked the ending so much. To NOT kill Cersei in the end and allow her to die her own way? To have Jaime have a perfect character arc from S1 and in then in S8 have him just run right back to Cersei.

Just...and Bran? Lmao.

I watched the entire season skipping with my arrow keys and I never do that for any show. Too much fill in every single episode and the last one 2 hours 30 minutes jesus christ..

I'm looking forward to better call saul part 2 tho. My expectations are so high yet I think they're going to nail it.
