I have a feeling from shorts that they will push your content in shorts feature and if it has good engagement, they will continue suggesting it. So basically early spikes in shorts are just test from YT if viewers like it, if video has bad ctr and watch time they will cut it. That’s also my experience where some videos are generating 2k+ views per hour with good ctr and over 70% retention. On the other sides few shorts got about 3k views and then totally died, these videos had low engagement and ctr about 10%.
 
You answered your question,just keep tweaking your content, sometimes you can never know with youtube

Can you explain why they are stopping my shorts video views when i start getting views from it ? This happened again with my recent video i was started getting views and then suddenly they stopped it why they are doing this to me is it because i gain some susbs from my previous shorts videos ?
 
Every social media (Facebook, Instagram) and search engine (Google SEO, Pinterest SEO, YouTube SEO) is becoming difficult where you need to at least put in a year of effort and expect nothing in return for the first year.

They want you to be committed to building a brand on their platform and will only promote heavily with their algorithm from the second year.
 
patience is a virtue when it comes to youtube. Some videos take months to take off. So its a time game.

Ofcourse your videos needs to be good enough to take off. If they are, then some of them (not all) might take off giving you decent returns and motivation to pursue it.

Ok but I asked why they are stopping my views in shorts video when are views are getting start on that video

For a test I uploaded some video on other channel too it's been more a month same situation nothing getting views if it goes like this I think I will get 100 subs in one year

Your niche is so common on YouTube. There's are lot's of gamers out there just like you =) The thing is you need to find your unique style to be different than other gamers. I suggest you play trending games and upload before someone does ( Currently, Call of Duty Black Ops - Cold War is trending ). Another thing is you need to upload at least 35 videos to get noticed on the YouTube algorithm. Make sure to share your videos on social media as well.
 
Ive uploaded a dozen shorts so let me tell you what is sort of happening right now.

Youtube is really trying to push the shorts format video. For that reason everytime you upload a shorts video it comes with a sort of free paid promotion.

After you upload a video its like youtube starts a paid promotion for free for like 5$ (i made up this number based on my own channel, I dont know how it would feel like for an existing channel with a big user base) and that causes you to get a spike (In my experience this happens 12-24 hours after uploading the video).

Of my dozen or so videos majority of them have got this spike 3 videos didnt get any of this and I dont have any idea why?

Youtube is obviously not going to continue to freely advertise your shorts videos forever. If during that grace period you get lucky and your video does take off then the organic growth type situation takes over.

This has happened to me in exactly 1 video so far. Youtube promoted it and it was well received and instead of the spike that dies down immediately that video got me like 40 subs and 8000 views in a day. After that point it too flat lined. I have looked at the competitors in the niche who are uploading videos similar to mine and I can see that its the exact same behavior for them. They have shorts videos with 1.5 - 1.7 million views and in the month that I have been tracking them their videos haven't really budged. I.e they are barely getting any views now on those videos.

To put my numbers in perspective I started my channel last month and I just passed 100 subs and I am also in the gaming niche.

I have looked at the competitors in the niche who are uploading videos similar to mine and I can see that its the exact same behavior for them. They have shorts videos with 1.5 - 1.7 million views and in the month that I have been tracking them their videos haven't really budged. I.e they are barely getting any views now on those videos. However they keep uploading shorts and they keep spiking and rinse and repeat. The only thing I can recommend with shorts is - Find a balance between quality and quantity. You cant sit there and spend 5 hours making a single short video of 15 seconds. I also make my own custom thumbnails for my shorts. I dont spend as much time on shorts thumbnails and I created a simple template which I just reuse with minor text edits for all my shorts. Most channels currently dont create custom thumbnails for their shorts and for that reason I do mine just enough to get by with a custom thumbnail. The rest is as it is with other videos. Try to make a clickbait title + thumbnail and churn out a lot of shorts. Make 5 shorts a day for the next 10 days. Reassess. And put your feedback here for others to benefit as well.

Also with shorts I have seen channels which take other peoples content blatantly. Gameplay or otherwise regardless of niche practically add a song in the background crop/resize for vertical and reupload. Imagine a top ten video and all you do is take that video from someone and chop that into ten shorts. I personally dont do this but when you get into this stuff you get unlimited content and for that reason you no longer have the burden of finding quality content your focus can now be on editing only. And really, editing a medium quality gameplay short/mini montage really does not take long ( this is just me and my level of editing might be different for you).

This above approach is if youre doing that for a specific reason. I.e the reason why I dont do it is because I am trying to grow a single channel for myself and to build a community around my channel. If I was in it for the business or if I had a plan on how to grow channels ASAP then I would do the above method myself especially now with these shorts. This method above is not new and used a lot normally but people who are doing this with shorts can benefit from this free boost that youtube is currently giving.

that's false. blow up can happen in even 1 to 6 months.
sometimes first few days if you are lucky.
 
Dont give Up. I guess there are thousands If Not Millions who have same idea and surrender at the Same Point. You need to keep doing it.
Maybe its Just Luck and YouTube does Just ignore you because it is able to do so
