Recently I noticed that my website gets strange hits from IP 217.23.***.*** (Example 217.23.132.228, 217.23.143.147, 217.23.133.99) and always from Cjsc Caravan-telecom, Moscow, Russian Federation (accordingly Statcounter). My site gets about one hit per hour (25-30 per day). Visit lenght 0 seconds. This lasts 3 months. All visits are without referring url.

My site on first place for my target keyword on "big G". This is my personal IM product.

    Any thoughts are welcomed...

A client of Caravan (a telecom provider in Russia) had either bookmarked your site in their home user page or subscribed to your RSS feed. If you check the user-agent string you will probably find it is an older browser (masking the actual user-agent) or a subscription tool. Also, bet these are HEAD requests and your site returns a '304' - hence the 0 seconds of visit time.
