Strange SERPS Change

Just wanted to ask if someone has face this before..

I used to have a Good SERP for my main keyword ( 48 ) and then i decided to buy some linkwheel services with tier 1 of .edu and tier 2 web2.0 properties.
I also bought some social bookmarking services from here.

After 5 days, my main keyword went to 36th position and i was very pleased.
But now, after two weeks, all of my keywords are shown not in top 100.

I use Rank Reporter (wp plugin) and Sescout.com to verify this.

Althought, they both show my keywords not in top 100, If i google about my main keyword, i can see them in good positions still ( 42th ).

I am clearing the cache and i am not logged in, in a google account when i perform the organic search.

The website keeps being updated once a day, like before. Adsense keeps making some money like before.

What is wrong that show me not in top 100 to the rank trackers?

If I am not mistakes, This is wat called as google dance!! You will get your SERPs back in few days...
 
Yes, i ve heard of Google Dance, but do these symptoms match to a google dance?

My domains are 3 months old, althought i ve seen them figuring at 1st-2nd google page because they are emd with low LS
 
Not a google dance.
If you have SBed, Xrumered, AMRed, social bookmarked, linkwheeled, paid for .edu/.gov, etc...You just lost it...It's not like before anymore...

I paid for some linkwheel services but i was aware of the quality.
I didnt bought any low quality links or linked all of them to my main site.
 
The strange thing is that even all SERP trackers are showing a decrease and my site not to top 100, some of them are still on page 1 or 2 for certain keywords
 
Your just dancing, wait till the end of next week and you should be back and stronger than before
 
if you have received too many links based on your history of backlinking, then you just got slapped, NOT dance. Many people love to jump on the band wagon and start saying its a dance, but its changed now. Too many "un-natural" BLs dont work any more.
 
Backlinks to the main site, are not more than 30.

In tier 2, 500~ backlinks are built to these 30.

Is this too much? I dont think..
 
Don't be nervous. These rank chackers have a tendency to overlook position sometimes. If you clear a catch, log out of Google and then search and see yourself on 42nd position, it means that you are 42... Just run the checkers tomorrow and you will see.
 
Be patient. You should see improvements eventually IF you keep link building. Blasting your site and leaving it won't do any good.

I haven't done extensive testing, but in theory Google wouldn't penalize a site for getting a bunch of backlinks through blog comments, .edu sites or whatever, as competitors would simply be blasting each others sites to get them further down the search rankings.

I guess they see if it is just a quick blast, as that is what most webmasters will do because they will wait to see the effects before continuing. But if the blasts are regular I guess they would just ignore the extra links or actually give them some value...i dunno lol

Yes, the problem is when i logout and clear my cache, my positions are still good.

Is there any accurate way to check my SERPS without webhosted checkers?
 
I had this a few days ago with all my rank checkers. Check the programs for an update as I think Google did something to their api. I use cuterank, dropped out of top 100 for days, noticed other rank checkers not working, updated and there I was. My position never really changed. :)
 
happened to me many times. Gives me a heart attack but everything goes back to normal in a day or two.
