Hello,
I have notice strange thing on Google Search Engine, Today I was going on webmaster central at Google to check search queries at one of my client site and try to search my site with following keyword:

When I type Dry cough at Google I found the below result:

dry-cough.jpg

And when I type: honey don't cough I found that result

dry-cough2.jpg

The strange thing is that I found 2 different Title on Search result for the same page...

Any reason why it happens?

Regards,
Secondeye

Url is cloaked

Elaborate a bit more please. I didn't do any cloaking or anything... I had uploaded this site 3rd June and is ranked top on Google... but didn't find why 2 different titles...

Maybe you got some autotagging plugin that changes it according to search, or previous search

I've noticed this too, seems like google places a title that's relevant to what the user searched. At least that's what I think. When I saw that I was like ?!?!?! It seemed to have grabbed it out of my paragraphs, but yeah just gotta hope that the title that google set is appealing lol, I may be wrong though as I'm not fully sure that it's automated by google.

Hm..these are some nasty pricks ;] Anyway, it's lovely to rank with the same site for 2 different keywords like the one in the pics

ermm.. i just tried with both the search terms and the site described doesn show up on page 1 for the search terms..
:S

this could be because of similarities and other factors

Only Google knows the secret they use to place search queries to people

Looks a bit strange. Maybe the site has change the title recently and G. haven't refreshed the cache yet, depending on which server returns your result!?

This is what i was thinking, I had giving Title as well as alt tags to all my internal links and for that reason the title in search query varies to search result.

I haven''t updated my homepage title since a week as this site is uploaded few days back
