I have tested with two different quora accounts, one that is aged almost 10 years old and one brand new account, only 1 week old now.

If I make posts with the old account I get lots of traffic from the answers I make with a link injection, but if I use the new account and answer the same kind of questions (not the same question) also with an link injection then I almost don't get any traffic?

The old account has more then 500K views per month the new has nothing for obvious reasons.

What is it that I don't get here??

Age trust - Quora needs to care about your account.

So let's say they favor the old account. Does it mean they somehow block for traffic from the new account or what do you mean they do since there comes no traffic?

You already know the answer...

Who would you rather believe on BHW:

Someone with 2.000 messages trying to sell you through Marketplace, "all legit", what you are asking for, or...
Newbie, popping up in your inbox with 2 messages and 3 days old profile on BHW with "I can help you"? :)

So you mean the user that is reading the answer looks at the profile, see it is only say 7 days old and don't want to click the link while if he see the account is 10 years old he will click the link, is it really that easy?

I'm not using Quora that much but, yeah you have people that think like that.
I was just giving an example...
Quora believe in your old account, the youngster needs to prove "himself" yet.

What is your answer position on both q? It also matter how much traffic a q is getting

Most often the answer is on TOP since I found a string I enter into google (found here on BHW for long time ago) that find all quora questions with more then 1K views.

Same procedure for old and new account so it should be the same circumstances in both cases.

Both accounts targeted same set of questions?
If so, it's a trust factor for sure.

yes they do. I never thought about it. What I thought was if the answer was useful people would click. But if that is all it takes I will go and hunt aged Quora accounts.

Can you help me with the string? I'm trying blackhat ways to increase views.

I find the bigger problem is not getting answers on there taken down for having a link even if they're well-written.

Anyone found a way to tilt odds in your favor such as put in the answer and later go back and edit and put in the link, something like that?
