Strange observation about instagram story

My story views are pretty low (<4k view, 20k followers)
I had higher average story views when I have 10k followers.

So today I found out the reason.

Once I update a story on my business account,
I immediately switch to my personal account which is a follower of my bussines account.
My newly updated story from business account is not being shown at the first ten positions, but even in the very back row position.
I am also a constant story-watcher of my own business account.

So I think that might explain the low story view.
why is that?

You will get less story views as your account grows, that's what i noticed.
i get 8K views on a 265K account and i used to get 5K when it was 50K lol.

But the problem is that the views even decreased when I grow my account.
5K views 10K followers vs 4K views 20K followers.

Do you use hastags in your story? Might help

Do you still post stories as frequently when you did at 10K?
