So if my site was #10 and suddenyl it's not top 50 does that mean it's sandboxed or google dance.

How long was it #10 for?

I'm assuming it is a domain you own, or..?

Is it still indexed in G? Sandboxed = deindexed

It's kinda hard to get sandboxed unless your first-timing some spammy new tactics, etc.

yea it's still indexed....it's like 1 month and half old now....and yea it was #5 or #10 in google for a week or two since i check rankings only every couple weeks so yea weird....and i have backlinks to it too like not massive but maybe like 20-40. So I dunno why it got sandboxed :( it was slow 5-10 links per day

Without more details, my first thoughts are the "google dance." Maybe try getting a few solid backlinks.. and drive more traffic to the site. Also, maybe focus on building links to some of the deeper pages.. then try some internal linking optimization to get the site back up in serp

probably google dance. normally you will rank highly the first few days, but once google reassesses your position, it may determine that you may not deserve to be there..

As stated above by blackhat.mmm, it isn't a sandbox if you are still indexed. So you are just in the dance. Give it a week and get back to us, usually you will come back stronger than ever when doing the dance. Not always, but usually.
