Strange Copyright Strike

Hi dudes. I have a sports channel in which i didn't use directly footage of the sport.
The question is, i recieved a copyright strike, but not of the dudes who own the rights of the sport. The copyright is for some dudes call TMG.
This is their email : [email protected]

Sound like a scam, do you know somebody with the same issue? Thanks

they can't do that
 
I saw that these people are guys who manually take down tv footage via the right owners but i don't understand why not are they who make that and yes this TMG guys

Most likely they can act on behalf of their client.

It's probably. Anyway to contact with them? I talk'em via that email of the 1st post, but they didn't reply me 24 h later.

It sounds suspicious if you received a copyright strike from TMG and not the actual rights holders. Verify the legitimacy by contacting the official rights holders of the sport. If it seems like a scam, dispute the claim through YouTube's process and provide evidence that the content doesn’t infringe on copyrights. Others have encountered similar issues, so it’s best to act cautiously
