Storm Proxies

I had an issue with storm proxies on Tuesday. Ended up that the IP's I authorized in my dashboard were reset. So I had to go back and re-auhtorize my IP's. Not sure if that might be your issue.

Nah I checked my IP against the Storm Proxies dashboard. Mine haven't changed.

did you try a scrape against yahoo/bing to see if that worked
then google on its own ?

They have a small pool that is being oversold and as such the IP's are getting banned due to too many people using them for same work

yeh kinda thought that as i said above, if u have a large user base and rotating proxies
passing from 1 user to the next every few mins, u can be sure u guys arnt the only ones
noticing . word travels and if support doesnt fix - user will always look else where

not exactly amazing results but that is also effected by keywords.
im guessing google is 0 as well right

Yeah. Sometimes, Google gets some results, but it's like only 20% of the time. On most Harvester runs with Google, it just comes up with zero results.

I think yeah, there might be too many people fishing in the same pond. After Loopline advertised Storm Proxies, I guess tons of people started jumping on.

Can anyone here recommend some other better proxy services?

I've been using Storm Proxies for 2 months for whois scraping. They were EXCELLENT for the 1st month, but in the beginning of July the error rates started climbing. By error, I mean not just the 'proxy error' message, but a 'short' response from whois, which is what they do when you're semi-banned. It doesn't contain expire date so it's useless to me.

The error rate went to 82% for a week, up until today it's dropping and the error rate was 75%.

And yes, I wrote to support and was just told to watch Loopline videos, which I had already seen and had nothing but setup info -- nothing about Storm Proxy errors. They've provided no useful response or info, so obviously we need to post here to help each other.

but a support team isnt really providing support if there telling you to goto
youtube and watch a video by mat-loopline , there basically doing no support.
real support tells you how u can fix your issues, they are not offering anything.

as per bhw rules - ide post this in there sales thread and
if you get no help - shit list - deki runs there sales thread here
he tells u pm support, support offers no support and send you
to utube.

What do you expect? They are a botnet, they have no overhead and they're not service oriented, they just saw an opportunity to make some cash and this is what it is. Now, truly, they're not as evil as luminati.io which charges $/GB for bandwidth they're effectively stealing (even though it's hidden in their ToS when downloading their free vpn app).. Well, maybe they are. But you have to know that these would dry up as they sold the IP's to more clients.

You should definitely post this in their sales thread as to warn potential clients. It will cut into their bottom line and that's the most important thing at this point. So they might have some fresh IP's somewhere they can give you, or perhaps a refund. But you need to post in their sales thread.

odd thing is i always thought botnet proxies wernt allowed on bhw
as we all no botnet is nothing more than infected drone machines
alot taken from everyday people like anyone here

Well they should be banned, i agree, as they are selling stolen goods essentially.

You guys should probably stop trying to play moderator or the "know it all" role. They might not allow botnet proxies up front, but I know of no less than 3 botnet providers in the BHW marketplace right now, and there's a probably more, but a few of them just resell each other's shit. Lol. I got suspended from Storm Proxies from a complaint from their server/hosting network because I was creating accounts on a network that has no sense of security and reported it as a "hacking like activity". Lol. I told the guy from Storm that not only do I have no idea how to hack accounts, I don't even have any use for them as I could create in bulk and offered to even let him Teamview me while I showed him in real time. He was actually kind of cool at that point and even refunded me for the month. I've never heard of a botnet provider suspending someone for that, or even making themselves available for a complaint to begin with.

The rotating plan I used wasn't any botnet though, at least not the way you guys would think. It looked to me based on DNS requests and hostnames that they were had combined a bunch of VPN's into an auto-rotating script of some kind. I remember doing something one time and watching one IP after another resolve to ipvanish.com. Quit throwing out your thoughts and opinions as facts unless you know them to be such.

yawn - jesus didnt have to write a book, couple lines will do.
but thats what i like about you, i never come to thee, thee comes to me,

replying to 6 month old threads now arrow? that really you lols

storm proxies is private proxies.

ip vanish is a vpn so they have little in common

I spend around $1,000 a month through storm proxies, and can confirm that roughly 20% of requests are 504. Likely it's a mix of the routing mechanism with incoming requests on their end and general ISP pipes.

To say it's not there is completely false. However, the question is whether it's an actual issue or not. If you are getting a 50% miss rate, then it's a potential issue. Right now I can confidently say that I am seeing daily 15-20% miss rates (504).

*edit for grammar
