Reels is good if you plan on growing the profile you are posting from. Stories is good for shoutout other pages that you want users to go to. That is how some OF agencies use both options to promote their Own Model, and the other Models they have.

Reels are great for reaching new people and growing your profile since they get shared more and have wider reach. Stories work better for directing your existing audience to other pages or shoutouts

In my experience, Reels drive way more new followers
they reach a broader audience thanks to the algorithm. Stories are great for engagement and connecting with existing followers, but Reels are the real growth engine right now.
