Stop words?

So I have installed the Yoast SEO Plug in for on page optimization and it modifies my URL's directly for stop words which is cool. One more thing that it is suggesting is to remove stop words from my keywords. I am not sure if that is a good idea? for example:

Keyword: symptoms of tooth ache

The plugin is suggesting removing of and changing the keyword to Symptoms tooth ache.

is it a good idea to remove "of" as the plugin is calling it out? or should I just ignore it and let it be. In case I should ignore it, should the modify the URL manually and switch it back to symptoms of tooth ache or leave it to symptoms tooth ache?

All replies will be appreciated.

Thanks

I'd definitely leave the stop words - whatever is the most natural to read for humans that will visit your page. Having your keywords in the page in numerous variations is more beneficial than just repeating the exact keyword too, which can lead to over-optimisation.

if you are talking about URL structure for this particular keyword, I would advice you to use "stop" words in the URL. it wont harm you in any way but it can give you benefits for sure.

You can use Google keyword planner to check which one can bring you to better page rankings. Not all stop words harm rankings. If you want safer SEO, you should look at the keyword research results. However, I also totally agree that it is always better to use natural-sounding keywords.

Thank you guys!
