I’m seeing everyone complain about Google’s crawl budget and indexation speed lately, but honestly, you’re making it too hard. I stopped paying for indexing services three months ago and switched to a “dead link” injection strategy that’s hitting 90% success in under 24 hours.

Basically, I’m scraping for niche-relevant Wikipedia entries with dead external citations, then I’m recreating those exact expired pages on my own high DR expired domains. Instead of just getting a backlink, I’m hijacking the entire historical trust flow of that specific URL path. Google treats these as high-priority refreshes because they’re “fixing” a broken link on a seed site.

I’ve scaled this across forty sites this month, and the results are insane. The bots hit the page almost instantly, and they crawl every internal link I’ve buried in the content.

Are you guys still burning money on API indexers, or have you found a way to trick the crawl priority using high authority referrers? Let’s talk about what’s actually moving the needle this week.

Quick update.

I just checked GSC, and another batch of links from the Wiki method just hit the index. It looks like the crawl priority is still holding strong even through the weekend. Anyone else seeing a delay on their end, or is it still instant for you guys?
