Stop faffing over getting profile links indexed

Anyone else having trouble taking Gorang seriously after this thread:
http://www.blackhatworld.com/blackh...096-were-going-crack-become-millionaires.html

:D

I like how you say on the one hand there's no point, and then in the next post you're conceding that an indexed profile is more valuable Gorang, it's that true flexibility in thinking that makes your case studies so valuable lol :D
Given that most people use automated process' to get profile links indexed over time I'm not sure what you're trying to say the downside is?

Also given that your last 3 case studies have gone NOWHERE and we have Taktical (A Blackhat member who actually deserves peoples respect) questioning your theories, surely the burden of proof is on you?

Saying "I've ranked infinity +1 websites over my million years in SEO" isn't actually proof!

You contradict yourself at every turn. I think you are well intentioned but you lack the ability to express your thoughts clearly. I think what you are trying to say is that Yahoo site explorer is not an accurate metric of the links that the search engines index (privately or publicly). However you even state that you take efforts to get your links indexed/crawled. We all know that all of our links wont be visibly indexed. Are you still going to argue that "trying to get them indexed is a pointless exercise" as your original post stated? That is the statement that I disagree with. Funny thing is, you disagree with yourself about 3 or 4 posts down as I pointed out above. All I'm asking is that you think before you post. Ask yourself if you are clearly making your point. More importantly, ask yourself if you are adding Value to this forum.

I really get fed up with silly posts like this. It is no surprise that checking your profile I found you are friends with 0_inspiration, the guy follows me around like a lost dog. Is this another account?

Look, since you seem so interested in what I say instead of actually adding value to the thread i'll try make this as easy as possible for you to understand.

I do not aim to get my backlinks indexed. It does not matter whether Google or yahoo shows a backlink in their data. Trying to get them to show up in backlink checkers is a pointless exercise. However, that does not mean you should not try to get your backlinks crawled as often as possible. In fact, I reguarly bookmark, ping and place them in RSS feeds for submission.

But whether they show up in a backlink checker makes no difference in my experience. Profile links have been my bread and butter of off-page SEO ever since Angela first started her packets. In those days, I didn't even ping my backlinks but they still worked a treat. That is my experience with them.

Obviously, if you have some credible evidence showing that a link is only taken into account if it shows up in a backlink checker then i'd be really interested in seeing it. Either way, I do all I can to ping and get my backlinks crawled anyway. But again, regardless, it does not matter if they do or do not show up in a backlink checker.

It is pretty simple stuff, this is something you should know if you've been doing this a long time.

Not only do you have trouble expressing your thoughts, you also seem to have trouble with English language comprehension. You didn't read my post, you quickly responded out of anger. Let me break it down for you. No one is arguing that all links should show up in YSE. Now whether or not YSE shows a link really has no bearing on whether or not they are actually indexed. In order for a SE to give value to a link, they must have data stored that says hey there is a link to site A from site B. That would be called an Index wouldn't it?. It may not be a public index, but all the same there is a record kept or how could they give you any credit for the links they don't show?

Your OP stated that it was a pointless exercise to try and get them indexed. That is misleading to someone who doesn't know better. Your statement implies that you can just set it and forget it.

Me:
"We all know that all of our links wont be visibly indexed
.

Are you still going to argue that "trying to get them indexed is a pointless exercise" as your original post stated? "

You: "Obviously, if you have some credible evidence showing that a link is only taken into account if it shows up in a backlink checker then i'd be really interested in seeing it"

Gorang, I'm not a mad person. You do kind of remind me of my ex mother in law the way you throw opinions around as facts but I won't hold that against you. I constantly see your posts crowding up the boards and each and every time I read one (I make a point to read every post, don't feel special) I feel like I have wasted a portion of my day. I'm just asking you to put a little more effort into it. And maybe try actually reading my responses and respond to them in turn.

I don't think you are a mad person, but I do find your replies funny. They just don't make sense. Have you ever ranked a website?

I should have known 0_inspiration would show up. He's got some sort of fetish with me. You guys actually wasted all that time posting this drivel and it makes me chuckle :D

Keep on trolling boys.

Oh, Gorang I know your deeply unbalanced and paranoid mind is sure I'm gunning for you, but that's just your persecution complex playing up again :D

How about focussing on your "Million Pound Business Deal" and you "hundreds of clients websites" rather than starting pointless threads like this?

(Mentioning someone by name in a post, and then acting surprised when they show up... what s actually wrong with you? lol)

That's just what I was thinking ;)

Yet another statement without any proof whatsoever :D
Have you considered taking your traveling freakshow over to the DP or WF forums? You'd fit in really well over there lol

Anyway given that my stated aim (putting your so called 'case study' to sleep) has already been achieved I'm not sure if it's worth my time mocking you anymore :D

Feel free to gibber and rave in this and other threads as you rock yourself to sleep in your padded cell though...

Once again you have failed to answer my question to you. You create a thread with a pretty bold statement and when I question you, you avoid answering me. Instead you act like a woman scorned. Let me ask you a third time.

Are you still going to argue that "trying to get them (backlinks) indexed is a pointless exercise" as your original post stated?

And in answer to your question, yes I have been ranking websites for several years. I started out around 10 years ago. It took me around 2-3 years before I earned any money and really began to get sites ranking for competitive terms. The reason it took me so long to make money is because I did what you are doing now. I made assumptions without actually doing the research for myself. Once I started doing more extensive testing/experimenting and stopped relying on the opinions of others I was able to find success.

You see how I read your post and actually answered your question? I even threw in some extra details for ya. That wasn't so hard was it?

Are you serious? You actually care this much about something I say?

Take it or leave it, that's my opinion. I find it funny you just keep trolling on and on like I am the word of god.

What's even funnier is that you still don't understand my posts

I'm not going to reply to someone who so emotionally involved with a forum. I'm just wasting my time and so are you.

That is the most clear and concise statement I have ever seen from you. On that note, you are correct my friend. Which was my point to begin with. This thread is a waste of time as were many others I have seen you spam these boards with. That is what I equate this garbage with. Spam. When someone spams my inbox, I blacklist them. I have not found a way to blacklist your threads yet or I would have. Instead I decided to ask you directly to PLEASE STOP SPAMMING THIS FORUM.

I'm done here. I have no use for you. Just another miserable fail on your part. Now where the hell is that blacklist option...

But it is pointless getting your backlinks "indexed" in yahoo sitexplorer.

I was testing this out a while back for a keyword I want to rank for. I created a link pyramid using only profile links, and I didn't do any other back-linking. I Bookmarked them, submitted them to feeds and pinged them. I received a really good boost in the rankings. None of the links show up in site explorer, and not all are indexed, but the results don't lie.

I've had the exact same results. I try to get mine crawled as much as possible, but whether they show up or not in a backlink checker is irrelevant.

It is annoying people throwing the term "indexed" around whenever I hear about backlinks. Google doesn't index backlinks, it indexes pages and content. If you people want to see their backlinks ACTUALLY indexed by Google search then they should put some unique content in there.

I tested this a few times by creating large forum profiles and they showed up in Google search very quickly. they will likely be more powerful too but I'm personally not going to spend all day creating 300-500 word unique content for profile pages
