Excuse my large font and colour but this post really needs attention ! We all need to stop crying about our serps, ITS OUR FAULT. Look at it this way, googles updates are desgined to inprove the result qaulity not kill our sites. GOOGLE NEEDS US AND THEY WANTED TO DO US A FAVOUR. Without us google is just a ugly simple white webpage with a crap logo in the middle. These updates are meant to help everyone one out and to increase serp quality overall. Its our fault we used illegal marketing methods ( spam etc.). Look at all the whitehat blogs, every update they get more revenue because they follow the rules. IM is meant to be whitehat and i personalyyy have expericnce. A couple of legit manual VALUABLE backlinks are far more worthy than blasting a shit 10k list.What im trying to say is that; Google updates are meant to help us, but BH'er dont want the help ( spamming etc) If we correct our ways of marketing and become more ethical then every update will help us , which is what google wants. Another extreemly positive point of this update is that google through out alot of high eearners meaning there is "open positions" . Now that we know the new googel recipe we can start from point A and continue on and quite easily make google love us again, but if we still dont learn our lesson and stick to white hat then we bound to get knocked out in a couple of months again.



THIS IS MY OPINION.... IT MAY BE COMMON SENSE BUT SOME PEOPLE STILL DONT KNOW AT ALL.

P.S 1 Of my bh site lost pr from 2 to 0 and disapreaed from serps- lost bare money

ironically my other somewhat white hat blog gained pr 4 and serp ( im now in process of monetizing it )

If you dont have any thing positive to say , dont waste your time mine, instead go fix your sitesup

PS - Who are you to tell people how to feel? If they want to whine, cry or whatever, it's their decision. After all, they've spent tons of time and money ranking these sites. Also, I'm no Algorithm guru, but wasn't this update named Penguin?

You not right i have site who lost SERP position and never spam or use link program like scrapebox or xrumer. Articles is 100 % unik, PR=4. And now i have organic only from Bing and Yahoo.
 
Great post, why did I not think of that. It's so simple all I have to do is make a site add a fuckload of information and then wait 30 years until it finally hits the first page naturally. Thanks, inspiring stuff.
 
Google is improving the results: soory that has not happened. They are creating a fear so that people move on to paid advertising.

Duuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuude, you're using the wrong meme with the wrong text. If you're going to use this text, you need the Fry picture (the guy from Futurama)!


Also, this is somewhat obvious. My legit sites have but been ranking higher and higher.

What a crap. Lots of so called white hat sites sunked to the bottom of the ocean.
And could you tell me what does "white hat" exactly mean? No one can explain it (even google).

I think no one mind if G is wiping out sites with bad quality content & spamming online with junk but what about those sites that has high quality engaging content that actually contributes something to the readers & the backlinks they have created for those sites are 100% whitehat still sites like those got hit,whose gonna give us back the time,money & hard work we put to get those sites in a position only to see G is slapping without any viable reason when we see sites with shitty content still ranking well.So i say

My bad dude. I use that meme with Fry too much so I decided to change for once.
 
It's obviously Google's responsibility to try to clean up their product, but when the clean up process involves "penalizing" rather than "devaluing" links, that's when the controversy starts.

Using "penalties" also implies that their algo is too sucky and inefficient; otherwise, the "penalties" wouldn't be necessary.
