Stop BST owners from showing their profiles?

I had a small issue with a bst, they sorted it in the end so no bother. It’s busness and things happen.

Anyway. I’ve noticed one or two sellers have the ability to hide their profiles.

You can see recent posts but you can’t see threads or really check them out before giving them money etc.

I personally feel that if someone has a BST then they shouldn’t be able to ‘hide’, what are they hiding??

I honestly thought they’d blocked me at first. I had to ask a moderator if that was the case etc.

I raised this before.

I mainly see it in the Social Media BST section, where I suspect some sellers were PBM who think it some how helps to hide who they are.

Should the title be stop from hiding their profiles?

I'm not sure if this is something that can be implemented through the system or maybe instead it becomes pert of the requirement to open a BST,
 
That you can still use the search button and search under 'Posted by member'.

Some people said they don't want people to see personal info, but then why put personal info here in the first place? I think it's a flag from anyone to hide their profile page and it's a big red flag when a new member signs up and does it.
 
I have worked with Xenforo before and this is technically possible. If you're not sure about a seller, you can also use the advanced search feature to check out his full post history.

Pretty sure it’s a permission with xenforo for useegroups. I’ll look at my own forum and see
 
Till the forum owner makes a decision on this, you can click on "messages" displayed on any of their posts to check all posts made by them in past.
