Everybody has to stop bitching about how the "networks" are scrubbing/shaving (BTW, in 99% of the cases, it's not the networks, it's the merchants). First, please learn the true meaning of both words and even though the end result (lower conversions) is the same, the actual meaning is different. Scrubbing is perfectly legitimate and most merchants put it into practice as it is a part of their business model. For example, when you're sending leads, they check for validations that are important to them and might scrub if they feel it is necessary. Example: We can't accept any leads from Ohio anymore because our product doesn't apply to them. Look at it as "Quality Control". Shaving: A merchant that is in a position where they are not meeting their revenue targets, so they may randomly "ignore" leads you send them or reverse leads that have already been credited. Sure that's shady but it happens. What is applied to most of you is SCRUBBING. Mainly because the leads blackhatters send 99% of the time are crappy ass leads, so you should consider yourself LUCKY that they're even paying you for half of those crappy ass leads and stop bitching about them not wanting to be frauded out of their money. IF you see that network A is scrubbing 50% of your leads for X email submit, instead of coming in here to bitch about it, go apply to networks B, C, D, E or any of the hundreds of networks out there with hundreds and hundreds of email submits all together and start sending your leads to other offers. Don't waste your time bitching, it WILL NOT generate any money. Spend your time wisely. Oh and BTW, telling others not to promote an offer from a network because they're scrubbing alot is worthless. Scrubbing is done in a case-by-case basis most of the time, so if Tommy boy next to you sent higher quality leads, he'll see a 5% scrubbing rate, while yours may still be 50%. Over and out.
