It amazes me that people still buy this stuff!! Seriously, who hasn't spun their internet marketing junk to make a business in a box for local seo consultant. It is only a deposit of 2497 and the rest due before the event. 4995 total for this gem!! Hopefully this will end when a new fad comes out.

yeah, but being a member of stompernet certainly has its perks, just avoid paying the extras.

Common sense: If you have the $5k to throw at a program like that, it is obvious you don't need what they are offering.
 
I was member of the old StomperNet and I can tell you that back in the days all they came up with was worth the money. This new SEO consultant thing is probably not your average WSO crap with "1. Find a business to target, 2. Cold call them 3. Sell them on your SEO expertise. 4. Cold call enough people till someone says yes" so it might be worth the price tag.

Also take into account that probably they are not going to teach u to target the local plumber who barely makes 3k a month so with the proper techniques (if they teach them) you can get your money back with the 1st client.

Back in the good ole' days when the [good fellows] at stompernet finally figured there were enough suckers to fill their bank accounts to overflowing!

Long story short...in terms of self-interest [ie, making sales and marketing] they sold [suckers] a crappy course were you'd spent all your time on SEO...

P.S. The head honchos Andy & Brad then openly admitted [more than once] SEO is a [mugs game] their websites kept vanishing in and out of the serps.

While the [headline] screams SEO, their bank account gets results with PPC or some other form of paid traffic.

P.S.S. The headline always reads "SEO"...shut the fu*k up!
 
there are enough guides here to teach you how to do this.. I have created a company with 12 employees around this business model, my own case studies and information found here. If anyone is interested in sending my company leads we have an awesome revshare program :).

Dude have you ever been in Stompernet? If not, stop flaming cuz you have no idea what you are talking about. Back in the days SN provided the best and most up to date SEO there was due to the people that we teaching it. Brad and Andy have also disclosed information about their own sites as case studies and they were making a killing just with SEO traffic to those sites. SN had more than 2000 members paying 800 a bucks a month so unless we were all under some kind a spell you can kinda guess that SN was providing "some" valuable information, don't u think? Or is it 2000 ppl are wrong and you know more abt SN?

Ever since Andy moved to La Jolla, he has been trying to become Frank Kern, right down to the hair. It is kind of scary. Almost like a David Lynch film--Mulholland Drive comes to mind. Frank believes that local IM is the way he will make $150 million, and Andy and others are following on his coattails. The local market is big in the aggregate and has its special opportunities, but we have always done national or international programs. Why? There are more customers.

I am not sure if La Jolla is the promised land of IM, or the place you go to lose your mind. I could write a book about it.
