Hey, I do have an idea like let's say if I create a website listing all US stocks with an upvote system... but I was thinking maybe this could put me in trouble, or some sort of SEC problem...what are your thoughts?
 
Just don't buy the name of an exchange in your domain name or you'll get a friendly letter like I did, lol.
 
I think these guys used to offer something very similar, but I see now they've changed to a subscription model which I guess is a smart move - https://www.stockopedia.com/

is there a law prohibiting such a thing just to upvote a stock? it's "I like the stock" but in a button...
 
As long as you don't offer financial advice or actually open an exchange, you're good to go.
