I saw a few people complaining about all the good domains being gone....

Just got myself a neutral named .com with clean wayback and ahrefs and a link from harvard.edu and wired.com for $6.....

Still plenty of gems out there ;-)

Did you buy from a reseller or scrape them yourself?

Obviously you are a reselller,it is clear for we all.By the way,I must say it is good.

I had a buddy who owned halo5.net or something similar. When ODST and Reach came out back to back, he said screw it and sold it to someone else for like $50. I'm sure he's kicking himself now.

Jamie3000 I agree with you but you need to know where to go , which tools to use for filter and analyzing the metrics to finf gems and it's time consuming.

I'm not a "reselller" I've already had one person PM me and and I've told them I don't sell services to anyone, ask a mod to check my inbox if you don't believe me.

But yes I am happy with the find, part of my PBN I'm slowly building :-) Hopefully I'll see some movement when I point it at my money site.

I agree it is time consuming, sometimes I can spend 8 hours looking and only find one decent domain. I brought 3 the other day and for some reason forgot to wayback check them and they'd ALL been japped! :-(

Shhhiiitttt. I have thought of writing a script to just message people through their contact form asking if they just want to sell their website for $100 then just message back the good metric ones, not sure if it would work though?

If you scrape them yourself it's definitely worth it, sooner or later you'll find something valuable.

Well, congrats! How are the metrics?

DA is 8....which is why I don't ever go off metric systems now. Moz only picked up one link from a crap website. I can see the links are there though and being indexed+followed.

How does one get hold of this script

In all honestly its so bespoke I think it would be useless to most people, its not commented in anyway also. And my code can be hacky as f**k when I think no one else is going to be using it! :-)

There are some good deals still for sure just have to spend the time searching.

There are indeed plenty of great gems out there that are up for registration that can be had without ever going near an auction site.

Congrats on the find and keep on searching.

Plenty of gems, and they replenish daily! At the end of this summer I took 3 days off from my "regular work" and did this for a few days because I think it is fun actually. Landed one domain I sold for $2800 and another for $300 to a local company. I ended up teaching my cousin's boyfriend how to do this and he can usually find one $1500-$2500 domain each week. Not bad making $6-8k per month when he was making half that at his restaurant job!

Many different ways to monetize. Slap up some content and use in your PBN, sell OBL, sell the entire domain <--- personal favorite.

The only "problem" I can see, and this may not be a problem for some people, is that it is not very fun to scrape, check and investigate domains all day every day for weeks, months...
