Still No Luck, Can Someone Help Me Out?

I still haven't had any luck getting the necessary info on how to start a private proxy server. I need some info on what kind of server to look for, what company's to look at (I want proxies in Ontario preferably Montreal, Ottawa or Toronto) and what kind of things I need to ask them, as well as just some general info on the easiest way to go about this. If someone were to be nice enough to PM me and help me out I would be very appreciative

I know for a FACT there are threads on this forum that go through in detail exactly what you are looking for. Use the "search" feature and do you homework.

Can you point me to it? I have used the search page multiple times for this subject and come up with multiple sales threads mostly.

I have spent a few hours researching this, Canadian proxies are very hard to come by along with companies that allow having the full 256 ip's per server. Thought I could get some info from the other members on this forum but I guess not.

Note: I haven't read it but I did read the replies and one of the mods was appreciating the tutorial. So, I think it would be good only.

Thanks I read through that thread and it is pretty complex with little explanation and seems to be outdated compared to other info I have read. I appreciate the help but I would appreciate someone helping me out over pm even more.

That's a few hours too little. No one will spend their time spoon feeding you, it's just one of these things you need to learn by yourself, unless your willing to pay someone to teach you. Looking at the OP you obviously haven't done your research.

A sensible person would start their search by looking for forums dedicated to the proxy scene. A quick search resulted in finding these forums:

It's not something you'll be able to grab and run with straight away.

In regards to Canadian IP's, well that's something you're going to have to figure out for yourself.

Come to think of it you can even try looking at webhostingtalk.com for the server questions.

Do I need to purchase a server in Ottawa if I want Ottawa ip's? Or can I buy a server in Toronto or Montreal and ask for Ottawa ip's?
