yo, im readin for hours now, but still don't understand how facebook marketing works.

IM A MUSICIAN, and i want my music to be spread over my country. So i created a fanpage on facebook with information to my myspace, youtube account etc.

So, what exact tactics can i use for many people press "like" and "share" button?

I heard its possible to add some applications, but where can i add them? to my facebook fanpage?

Please help, but as you guys probably know - music marketing is one of the hardest businesses.

ye my music is not bad, many ppl like it, but it still doesnt spread by itself. so i need social networks like facebook etc. =) i konw its possible, but it costs so much energy! ;p

AH BTW : My aim is not to make money! i dont sell cds or anything, i just want my music to become known.

There is more than just good design if you want to promote your service in Facebook Fanpage:

1. Hidden content to non-fan
2. Discount voucher to fan
3. Share and Invite button
4. Communication features as people like to communicate
5. Put in few videos and have a share button on each videos
6. and many more...

Edit: if you not selling but giving away for free than put in few mp3s for them to download and a share button so that they can share with their friends.

3 steps fbml, i am sure facebook won't delete your page because you are not monetizing your page.

if they like your music, they will share it to friends.

Agreed.
Start with Like-Share-Invite

Means they need to click Like to get a free songs download for example.
Then they can share about the great news to their wall.
Finally they can invites their friends that have the same passion.

You can check the sample HERE

It may be simple but it just to give you the basic idea on the implementation. The rest like graphic and page tune up you can do later.

the problem with the 3step programme is, that many people will leave the page as soon as they notice any variation of it, since in their heads you get instantly labeled as another one of those shitty spam profiles that they've had too much trouble with already. It works for some shocking video people REALLY want to see, but I'm not sure it works for artist profiles. I'm trying to do the same as you are, btw

Agreed.
Honestly people nowadays are smart.
But it depends on the Fanpage name, and if it is an artist page then i believe it still gonna work fine.

As long as you know how to play around with the content for example in one of the step you put the your (artist) video/song embedded and with a share button at the media for them to share it.

Facebook Friend Adder Pro might be able to help you out, although id recommend practicing with it on a dummy account cause it takes awhile to figure out how to use it without getting banned. personally though id think youtube would be a much better place to market music than facebook. id recommend putting videos of your music up on youtube, adding them to Youtube Jumpstart to get them more views, getting lots of targeted subscribers using Tube Toolbox, and maybe even liking your videos and comments using Yootoobme. its a lot easier to market on Youtube than Facebook without getting banned and id think that youtube has a lot more people who are interested in music

Do you want to make money with your facebook fan page pr just have more people pressing on "I Like It" and sharing it?

If it's only promoting what you're doing, go to other artiste fan page rate, review and post that you also doing some nice music and say what the name of your fanpage.

Well i have videos on youtube,
but they have jus a few views.

(10.000 views) is the most viewed video.
The problem is i dont have any money for software ... cause im a student and need to pay for ma studies

Does YouTube jumpstart work? does it increase views? I thought theres actually no program that works.

i want to promote yt and facebook. But viral marketing (via social networking sites) is a very successful marketing method, as i read on serveral websites.
