Hi,

i already gave a shot to PBN with deleted domains, i tried only with 7 domains with DA 25 and clean backlinks (20+ from wikipedia and such high autority websites) but didn't noticed any serps improvement even after months so i stopped getting more

i'm in the road to make a new PBN, i don't want to get the same results, i saw a lot of threads about those metrics and i find the same things i already did (DA/PA 20+ CT/TF 15+ CT/TF ratio etc)

is there anything i'm missing here ?

i think a lot of bhw members are in the PBN making road
i just need some experimented metrics that do the job

Maybe this time you should build a PBN with expired domains rather than deleted domains. Expired domains are more effective because they retain their age but they can be 10 to 20 or even 100 times more expensive than deleted domains that usually cost less than $10 depending on their PR, traffic, and how brandable they are.

You can build a low-cost PBN with deleted domains, but for maximum effectiveness, you need expired/expiring domain names.

actually i can't affrod buying domains throught auctions
i'm looking for deleted ones because i saw many BHW services providers proposing this kind of domains as PBN domains
so i tought that they are usefuls

Yeah, they are useful but not as powerful as expired domains on godaddy auctions. Bear in mind that the same criteria you use for deleted domains apply to expired domains as well.

When you say you had domains with links from high authority sites like Wikipedia, did each domain have at least one such link or did 2 or 3 of them have all the good links pointing at them? What sort of other authority links are we talking about here? On these other authority sites, were the links ********? Were the pages that the links were on buried deep down in the authority site or were they high enough to have toolbar PR of their own?

And what sort of anchor texts did you use? What do your PBN sites look like in terms of structure - do they have one page or many pages each? What is the competition for your keyword? Where do you currently rank?

As you can see, there are a number of reasons why your PBN might not have been effective and by answering these questions (and probably more that I haven't thought about yet), me and the other members might be able to help advise you better.

1. Don't look only at metrics. You should to check this links, too. Avoid links from linksfarms (there are a lots of this type)

2. The lower quality domain the bigger chance for being penalized. Anchor text politics is the key.

You can get good results with expired domains that dont have as high metrics that you mentioned.
Instead of buying a few powerful expired domains, buy a bunch of less powerful expired domains for cheap.

same problem here, How long does deleted PBN's domain take effect? since whois domain age only few days

Quality backlinks is what you should focus on.. I bought 40 domains from which 18 were OK rest is trash.. my mistake :)

Don't look only at metrics. You should to check this links, too.

Very true, metrics can be terribly wrong, e.g. if an expired domain was used by some "moncler jacket" or "nike air max" spammer before.

Most available domain metrics are skewed. Check the domain history on archive.org, look for mentions of it, search for previous possible spam, etc. I think there was a professional due diligence service here on the marketplace too you could hire.

expired domains with high quality backlinks have a great effect and makes the pbn much more strong

No one has actually answered this question. Unless the competition is non-existent, 7 links is not enough. You need a lot more. Once you reach 20 links and wait 4 months for the Sandbox, then you can see how you're doing.
